A little bit of Mindfulness off the Euston Road

Mindfulness and calm is not something that you generally associate with Euston however the current exhibition at the Welcome Centre - Tibet's Secret Temple - Body, Mind and Meditation in Tantric Buddhism exudes just that. From the opening video depicting the approach to the Dalai Lamas' private sanctuary by water, through the related exhibited objects and digital recreations of the stunning wall murals designed to guide the Dalai Lama to enlightenment, to the final video looking at the integration and research of Buddhist practices in Western education and science, the exhibition is truly engaging and an interesting insight into what for many years was a completely private world.
