Qualifications and Experience
Following a career as semi-professional swimmer, Nicolo qualified as a Sport and
Exercise Specialist (BSc) and as a Physiotherapist with Hons (BSc) from the
University of Padua (Italy). After university, he developed his physiotherapy
skills practicing in a variety of settings in the Italian and English NHS, in a private
clinic and following 2 semi-professional football teams. Nicolo now splits his working hours between private practice doing 'hands-on' treatments and rehabilitation, and a new innovative NHS service called FCP (First
Contact Physiotherapist) working alongside GPs helping them to ensure the
best management of patients presenting with musculoskeletal problems. In his spare time he is a keen runner and cyclist.
Special Interests
Driven by his passion, Nicolo is always pleased to assess, treat and rehab any sport-related injury, with the possibility to follow you up to complete reconditioning and return to pre-injury level.
His special interests are:
• Football injuries, from acute stage to return to competition
• Swimming and Running related pain
• Lower limb conditions: hip, knee, ankle and foot pain
• Shoulder pain
• Post-surgical rehabilitation and reconditioning
• Joint taping and kinesiotaping
• Communication and liaision with patients' GP practices
Clinic Days
Nicolo is available Tuesday evenings 4.15pm - 9.00pm and Saturdays 9.00am - 5.00pm
