Workout at Work Day 2014 – We’re at the British Library

This is the 4th year that this event is being run by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. This year it’s being held on Friday 6th June. It aims to encourage people to lead healthier lives and develop healthier work habits which as our clients will know is a subject close to our hearts.

Last year, 868 CSP members took part, organising more than 300 events in venues across the UK ranging from factories and hospitals, to offices and shops.

Physio Solutions is delighted to be taking part this year and are very excited to be hosting an event in association with the Business & IP Centre at the British Library on Euston Road, NW1.

Physio Solutions staff will be in attendance at the Centre for the afternoon and will hold hourly free exercise demonstration sessions looking specifically at easy desk exercises that are designed for computer users to incorporate into their working day. The sessions will be available to staff and users of the centre.

We will also be available to give advice on related issues such as workstation set-ups and ergonomic equipment, general physical activity recommendations or specific work-related issues.

The Business & IP Centre is a fantastic business resource and help centre that aims to support businesses, entrepreneurs and inventors grow their organisations across a range of industries.  Many of their resources including databases and publications are free and they also host a great number of workshops, advice sessions and other events.

Physio Solutions has directly benefited from their help through their Innovating for Growth programme.

"I just want to say thank you for looking after me. I hope - in the nicest possible way of course - that I won't be seeing you again too soon!"
