Kashish Parmar
B.P.Th,
MCSP, HCPC
Physiotherapist
Qualifications
As a passionate and dedicated physiotherapist with a keen interest in sports medicine, Kashish is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health at University College London (UCL), with an expected completion in 2025. She completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy (B.P.Th) from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India, where she developed a solid foundation in clinical practice.
Clinical Experience
Following her graduation, Kashish worked at a government-funded hospital, where she honed her skills across a broad spectrum of specialties, including musculoskeletal, neurological, occupational, and women's health—delivering care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Kashish has also worked extensively in private practice, particularly within the realms of sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has worked with local football clubs which has provided her with specialised experience in sports injury rehabilitation, enabling her to develop a nuanced understanding of sports-specific assessment and recovery strategies.
Kashish is a firm advocate of a holistic, evidence-based approach to physiotherapy, believing that the key to effective rehabilitation lies in addressing the underlying cause of the issue rather than merely alleviating the symptoms.
Kashish's treatment includes techniques such as Functional Kinesiotaping, Cupping therapy, Myofascial Release, Functional Neuromuscular Dry Needling and Strength & Conditioning training.
Research Focus
Kashish is currently engaged in research at the Institute of Sports and Exercise Health (ISEH) at University College London, focusing on the assessment of strength, power, and functional capacity in patients with knee osteoarthritis and those recovering from ACL injuries. This research aims to develop more targeted rehabilitation protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
