13/05/20 Clinic Update Regarding Re-Opening
Whilst we continue to support many of our patients with Remote Consultations which have proved highly effective, in light of the government’s recent announcements, many clients are asking when we might reopen our premises at Baron Street.
We are currently working hard on planning and implementing a number of key safety measures and important new protocols to provide a safe environment for our staff and clients.
Our Governing bodies the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Council for Soft Tissue Therapies (GCMT) have been very helpful and are providing guidance and resources to help Clinics plan for a safe reopening.
What is already clear is that unfortunately it cannot be a return to ‘Business as Normal’. We will be continuing to operate a Remote Consultation Service for the foreseeable future and most likely there will be a ‘Virtual First’ approach for all appointments with Face-to-Face Consultations only available where absolutely necessary.
We know that this will be disappointing and frustrating for many of our clients and it is also very difficult for us as a health services provider and as a business. Unfortunately the continued prevalence of COVID-19 and the risks associated with transmission and exposure dictate that any service we provide must be managed in the context of social distancing and infection prevention and control measures as well as following regulatory and professional guidelines. Safety is paramount and commercial considerations are unimportant in comparison. We will keep you informed of developments. In the meantime if you are struggling with an injury or there is anything we can help with please let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org and a team member will be more than happy to speak with you.
"Thank you very much for your help, you've made my shoulder even better than before the injury!"
