Helen Skehan MSc., BSc Hons Physiotherapy, MCSP, MMACP
Practice Principal
Helen qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1988 and has since worked extensively in both the NHS and
in Private Practice. She completed her MSc in Neuromusculo-skeletal physiotherapy in 1993 and worked for
a number of years in a busy multidisciplinary City Clinic before establishing Physio Solutions in 1998.
Helen has a special interest in Spinal conditions, Shoulder pain and Occupational Health-related
conditions. She is a member of the Acupuncture association of Chartered Physiotherapists, the
Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, PhysioFirst and the The Association of
Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics.
Daniel Brown MSc., BSc Hons Physiotherapy, MCSP, MMACP
Daniel came to physiotherapy having already qualified as a personal trainer and sports massage
therapist. He graduated from Brunel University in 2001 and gained his MSc in Advanced Musculoskeletal
Physiotherapy at University College London. He has worked in the London area in both the NHS and in
Private Practice gaining wide-ranging experience. He currently works part-time as the Lead
Physiotherapist at Blackheath Rugby Club and with the British Judo Association attending international
competitions and training camps. Daniel has also worked with Liverpool Football Club, GB Boxing, GB
Athletics and The Chelsea Football Club Academy. He is a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of
Chartered Physiotherapists.
Jade Pattison MCSP
Jade graduated form the University of Health Sciences (Spain) in 2002. She worked in private practice in
Spain for 2 years before returning to the UK. The following 7 years were spent working for Bournemouth
and then later Hampshire NHS Trust specialising in musculoskeletal injuries. Jade has a special interest
in hand and upper limb conditions and is a member of The British Association of Hand Therapists.
Nikos Stamos
MSc (NMS), BSc (Hons), Dip Inj Ther, MCSP MMACP
Nikos completed his physiotherapy degree in Athens in 2005. During his studies he was working in a well
known physiotherapy practice in Athens where he was introduced to the Kaltenborn-Evjenth manual therapy
approach and acupuncture. After completing all the available manual therapy courses of this approach in
Greece, he sought further post-graduate development and studied an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy
in the University of Brighton in 2007. During his MSc study period, he worked in several hospitals and
clinics around the UK gaining further experience in treating complex spinal pain patients, pre and post
operation orthopaedic cases and sports injuries. He carried on his post graduate studies by successfully
completing an Injection Therapy Diploma from the University of Southampton in 2010. He has published his MSc
study in the well acknowledged Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics and presented his work
at the Annual Congress of Chartered Physiotherapists in Liverpool in 2011. Prior to moving fully into
private practice in 2011 he was an Upper Limb Extended Scope Physiotherapist in the NHS.
Nikos' approach to treatment is mainly hands-on, combining advanced manual therapy techniques, acupuncture,
core stability and Pilates training, sports specific training and functional rehabilitation tailor-made to
his clients' needs. He is a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MMACP).
Terry Luk
MSc, BSc (Hons), MCSP, MMACP
Terry has over 10 years of clinical experience and has worked in both the UK and Hong Kong in a variety
of clinical settings including the HK national football team, several major NHS hospitals (including
University College London hospital & Mile End Hospital) and the BBC. In 2010, he completed his MSc in
Manual Therapy with Merit at Kings College London. Terry is also a certified and experienced Pilates
instructor and has been teaching Pilates since 2007. Terry has been practicing acupuncture since 2002
and received his foundation acupuncture training in Beijing and Hong Kong.
Terry specialises in treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, from simple muscle and joint
aches to acute sport injuries. He is very interested in posture and movement analysis, and incorporates
his physiotherapy knowledge and experience into his Pilates teaching. Terry also has a special interest
in treating shoulder injuries and headaches.
Kasia Zielina
MSc., MA, MCSP, MMACP, MACPSEM
Kasia has been working as a physiotherapist for over 10 years and has specialised in sports injuries since
completing her MSc in Sports Injury & Performance at Kings College London and MA in Sports Management at
North London University. She has most recently gained experience in a senior role within the sporting and
musculoskeletal arenas whilst working for the English Institute of Sport. She was appointed as the
physiotherapist for the first Women's GB Boxing Team as part of the 2012 Olympics.
Kasia has worked in the NHS, in private settings, and in various sports organisations including: GB Boxing,
UK Athletics, English National Ballet, GB Gymnastic and GB Paralympic Athletic and Swimming squads.
Kasia is a Gold Member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sport and Exercise Medicine. She
is also a qualified Manual Therapist, Acupuncturist, certified Fitness Instructor and Masseur; and recently
gained the Hatha yoga instructor qualifications in India. Her main interests are sports and dancing
injuries, especially lower and upper limbs and disability sport.
Suzy Murphy
BSc. Hons Physiotherapy MCSP
Suzy graduated from the University of Manchester in 2004 and has
specialised in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy for the last 6 years working in NHS hospitals in Telford
and London including 3 years at University College Hospital London. Suzy has undertaken extensive
post-gradate training including Acupuncture and is a member of the Acupuncture Association for Chartered
physiotherapists. She has a special interest in knee, shoulder and neck conditions. In her spare
time Suzy is a keen cyclist, enjoys climbing and is currently building up her training for her first
marathon.
Suresh Samuel M.PT., B.PT., MCSP, MISCP
Suresh did his undergraduate physiotherapy training in India, qualifying in 1998 and then went on to
achieve a Masters degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in
2000. He has worked in the Irish health service for the last 10 years in hospital, community and private
practice settings. He relocated to London in 2012. Suresh has special interest and experience in
occupational health conditions, chronic pain, neck and low back pain and sports injuries.
Massage Therapist
Angelina Pfeifer BA Hons BTEC
Angelina is a qualified BTEC Sports and Remedial massage therapist. She is a member of the Institute for
Sports & Remedial Massage and is also registered with the Complementary Natural Healthcare Council. She
uses a mixture of general massage, soft tissue release and muscle energy techniques combined with
remedial therapy to suit clients' needs.
During her teenage years, Angelina was a semi-professional athlete and also a dancer and dance
choreographer. Her time as an athlete allowed her to experience the beneficial effects of massage for
herself in promoting soft tissue recovery and reducing post-exercise soreness. In her free time she is
an active practitioner of meditation, rock climbing and bikram yoga.
Practice Administrator
Cordelia Regis
Cordelia has been the Practice Administrator at Physio Solutions since
2006.
She started her career in the Civil Service, working for the Department
of Transport for 5 years. This was followed by 3 years at University studying
for a degree in Social Sciences. On her return to work she joined the
NHS in an administrative capacity and then moved on to work in private
healthcare. Cordelia gained the European Computer Driving
Licence (ECDL) qualification in 2008.
Practice Receptionist/Office Assistant
Myriam Oudina
Myriam received her Baccalaureat secretarial qualifications in France. She came to London to learn
English in 1989 and has also lived in Italy for 4 years. As well as working in administration, Myriam
has developed a special interest in health and fitness. She is a qualified Group Exercise Instructor,
Reflexologist and has a level 3 Diploma in Pilates Matwork. She speaks fluent French, English and
Italian.
