Helen Skehan MSc., BSc Hons Physiotherapy, MCSP, MMACP
Practice Principal
Helen qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1988 and has since worked
extensively in both the NHS and in Private Practice. She completed her
MSc in Neuromusuclo-skeletal physiotherapy in 1993 and worked for a number
of years in a busy multidisciplinary City Clinic before establishing Physio
Solutions in 1998. Helen has a special interest in Spinal conditions and
Occupational Health-related conditions. She is a member of the Acupuncture
association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Stephanie Stock BSc (Hons), MApp Sci Sports Physiotherapy
Stephanie graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a BSc (Honours)
in Physiotherapy. She went on to study a Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy
at the University of Sydney, Australia. Stephanie has been working in
the UK since 1997. She uses a wide range of therapeutic techniques including
education on the prevention of injury, manual therapy, exercise therapy
and where appropriate, acupuncture. Stephanie is Stott Certified in mat
work Pilates and qualified in reformer Pilates and she uses these skills
as an adjunct to her therapy. Stephanie has a background in dance and
enjoys treating dancers from a variety of disciplines.
Daniel Brown MSc., BSc Hons Physiotherapy, MMACP
Daniel came to physiotherapy having already qualified as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist. He graduated from Brunel University in 2001 and gained his MSc in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at University College London. He has worked in the London area in both the NHS and in Private Practice gaining wide-ranging experience. He worked for two and a half years at the Marylebone Back Pain Clinic specialising in neck and back problems. He worked with the Chelsea Football Academy for three seasons covering match days and evening clinics. He has also covered athletics events and marathons.
Scott Morris BSc Hons Physiotherapy
Scott qualified from Southampton University in 2002 and has since gained a wide range of experience in the musculo-skeletel field. He has a strong interest in exercise related problems particularly lower limb problems having competed at a high level in cycling and running events. He uses acupuncture as an adjunct to his manual therapy skills.
Kasia Cox MA, Dip Physio, MMACP, MCSP
Kasia qualified as a physiotherapist in 1997. Prior to this she worked as personal trainer, gym and fitness instructor, and massage therapist. She completed a Masters in Sports Management in 2002. She has worked extensively in the NHS, gaining a wide range of experience, and also as a sports physiotherapist and classifier at national and international competitions for disabled athletes.
Kasia has a special interest in sport injuries, especially lower limbs and shoulders. She is currently pursuing her academic career through an MSc in Advanced Sport & Performance Physiotherapy at King’s College London.
Massage Therapist
Clare Murphy Dip Therapeutic massage, Dip Body therapies, BEng.
Clare qualified with diplomas in both Theraputic Massage and Body Therapies
in New Zealand in 1999. She provided sports and therapeutic massage for
patients at Olympic Physiotherapy in Auckland, before returning to the
UK to set up her London practice.
She combines Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular and sports
massage techniques to suit patients' needs.
Dietitian
Tracy Parker RD, BSc(Hons), HFI ACSM
Tracy is a registered and sports accredited Dietitian and certified Health
and Fitness instructor with 14 years experience. She is a member of the
British Dietetic Association, and their Freelance Interest group, Health
Professions Council and the American College of Sports Medicine. Tracy
has worked in the UK and the US, with experience in London teaching hospitals
as well as a being specialist in the field of sports dietetics and wellness
nutrition. She has also played squash at international level.
Craniosacral Therapist
Kamali Freedman-Brown RCST AIYS
Kamali qualified as a Craniosacral therapist in July 2000 from the Craniosacral
Therapy Educational Trust ( CTET ) in London. Following qualification,
she volunteered at the Fountain Clinic (a supervised craniosacral therapy
clinic)gaining experience in treating adults, children and babies. She
has since worked in a variety of settings including Surestart initiatives
treating parents and children, special needs schools, clinics and home
visits. Kamali has undertaken post-graduate courses in treatments during
pregnancy, babies and children, body organs, tissue memory, and Gendlin’s
‘focusing’ as a tool to complement cranial work. Kamali is
particularly interested in working with the emotional component of long
term physical conditions. She is also a qualified yoga teacher specialising
in yoga in the mental health sector and a baby massage instructor, where
appropriate she incorporates aspects of this work with craniosacral therapy.
Practice Administrator
Cordelia Regis
Cordelia has been the Practice Administrator at Physio Solutions since
2006.
She started her career in the Civil Service, working for the Department
of Transport for 5 years. This was followed by 3 years at University studying
for a degree in Social Sciences. On her return to work she joined the
NHS in an administrative capacity and then moved on to work in private
healthcare. Cordelia has more recently gained the European Computer Driving
Licence (ECDL) qualification.
